TEAM DEVELOPMENT .

The major issue in developing a team is for you to be able to manage the people you are working with in your team .
There are different stages of Team Development identified by BRUCE TUCKMAN , And these stages were listed below with very simple explaination.
-Forming stage : This requires you to be helpful and polite to people that surround you.
-Storming stage :This is the period whereby conflict that has to do with the work comes up , one should have the ability to settle amicably.
-Norming :This is a time of acceptability that this is work and you have to do it .
-Performing :This is a period of welldoing in all the job assigned to your team.

TEAMBUILDING.

How to build a team is not just within a unit but departments in an organisation.
First thing -building the people that are working with you.Identify necessary roles and place the right person in the right places.Competencies and abilities should be identified that the right person doing the right thing. For instance someone might fall into the following categories identified:
Who will do and can do .
Who will do and cant do.
Who wont do but can do.
Who wont do but cant do .
Dont make too fast conclusion about a person , overlook some behaviours and have the mentality of changing the person .someone want to work with somebody who respects rather than who does the job.The ability to cause changes , assess yourself , the quality of words that comes from you.
However , someone who wont do and cant do should be referred to human resources management.
moreover, someone who wont do and can do should be motivated and encouraged.
furthermore, someone who cant do but will like to do should be trainned.

CO-DEPENDENCE IN A TEAM

Everybody in a team needs to know that the thing they do affect others .Effort is very important moving from point A to point B .Excuse is not allowed knowing fully well that you are relevant and it will be obvious when you didnt do what you are suppose to do .
