Having job / duty of doing something or taking care of somebody that you can verge for ,that you can be trusted and rely on .It also could be referred to as the followings:
-Always doing your best.
-Doing what you say you will do
-taking care of things.
-Being carefull when using other people's things.
-doing your part when working with others.
-Accepting the consequence of your action.
- being in control of your behaviour.
moreover, you can have a sense of responsibility on the higher level which is always refer to as high sense of responsibility. which i think is the best level that needs to be attained especially for promotions and position of authority.Again i say toyou be responsible!
