Keep it short , sweet and dont allow e-mail threads longer than a football field .
De-code messages as much as possible.
Encourage people to respond with questions.
Save wrath face to face meetings.

Consider setting a five minutes buffer between when you send and when it goes out.
Work in time eachday to answer e-mails or get help.
If writing via e-mails is not effective , get some trainning.
